Bi- State Shad Fishing Contest Sponsor Levels
• Corporate Sponsorship – $500 and above
A corporate banner is supplied at no extra cost and will be displayed at the weigh station. Two banquet tickets, or Two Contest Entries are included
• Level 1 – (Platinum) would be a contribution of $200 and above.
• Level 2 – (Gold) would be a contribution of $105 to $195.
• Level 3 – (Silver) would be a contribution of $50 to $100.
Sponsors will have their names or business added to a T-shirt (from Tee’s by Bee’s that will be given to all contestants and sponsors of the contest.

Dear Sir/Madam:
My name is Eric Fistler and for the past 12 years, I have been promoting and managing the Bi-State Shad Fishing Contest, on the Delaware River. The Bi-State Shad Fishing Contest was formed in 2011, after a local shad tournament that ran for 32 years, ceased operation. Competitive shad fishing became a local tradition that many anglers took vacation for every year.
The contest runs for 4 days, and is scheduled for April 25, 26, 27, & 28 2024. There is also a women’s and kids division, making this a fun filled family event.
Please consider helping this contest grow to benefit all of us. Moving forward to keep the reputation as “The Shad Fishing Capital of the World” intact, inviting all to participate can only help the local economy, big business and small. It will also bring pride to our heritage here on the Delaware.
In return, your business or company advertisement will be listed on the sponsors page of our website, In addition, your name or business’s name will be advertised on our official contest t-shirt. All sponsors and contestants will receive a t-shirt at no cost. With that I would like to bring forth a plan for levels of sponsorship to help in this regard, which can be found on the attached page.
All entry fees and sponsorship money will be used solely for the contest, as it is a nonprofit event.
